I just want to say that Megan's hair is freaking majestic. Take it away, our majestic new editor.

Hello! My name is Megan Clark, and I was born in Cullman, Alabama on February 26th,1992. I grew up on a small farm outside the ever growing city of Cullman. My favorite genres when it comes to books and movies are fantasy, action and adventure, and romance. Above all else I absolutely love comics. I’m currently consumed by the comics The Rat Queens and SAGA. Throughout high school I had fallen in love with the novel The Woman in the Wall by Patrice Kindl, which I have read at least five times. When it comes to video games you will probably catch me playing Skyrim, Fallout, and Overwatch. (However I must admit that I will forever be a diehard Pokémon fan.)

In high school, I was in band, joined a couple of musicals, and floated around the art room. Other than that, high school wasn’t very spectacular for me. Honestly my friends kept me sane throughout the long four years. I have changed majors twice and have been in school for five years; but as of now I am a junior/senior interdisciplinary study major focusing on art, theatre, and graphic design with a hopeful minor in biology. Honestly college has been long and stressful, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. The experiences I’ve been through, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people I have met have made it all worth it. After graduation I hope to work for a printing business while also developing my art. However my dream is to either own my own printing business, or to work for National Geographic. I have a few hobbies which are photography, ceramics, observing nature, and sleeping.

The literary world is extremely important. Rich literature brings us knowledge, art, theatre, and much more. I joined the Sucarnochee Review to help enrich my understanding, to help better my chosen fields in art. I also hope to learn as much as I can about the process of editing and publishing written works during the rest of my stay on the staff of the Sucarnochee Review.
